Newsweek collaborates with global data firm Statista, surveying over 2,000 medical experts with knowledge of plastic surgery – including doctors/surgeons, plastic surgery clinic managers, and other medical professionals. A score is calculated for each surgeon based on the number of recommendations, a quality assessment, and relevant certification. Over 8,400 votes were collected and analyzed for each procedure.
These rankings are highly respected as they reflect peer reviews from within the plastic surgery community. Notably, Dr. Foad Nahai is one of the few plastic surgeons ranked in all five categories for the second consecutive year, while Dr. Farzad Nahai is recognized in the *Best Plastic Surgeon – Facelift* category.

About Dr. Foad Nahai
Dr. Foad Nahai is internationally recognized as a pioneer in plastic surgery, renowned for developing and enhancing numerous aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. As the former Maurice J. About Dr. Farzad R. Nahai
Farzad R. Nahai, M.D., is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in Atlanta since 2004, specializing in a wide range of procedures for the face, breast, and body. He also offers non-surgical treatments like BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers. Dr. Nahai sees patients at our Atlanta – Sandy Springs location and MetroDerm’s Center for Plastic Surgery in Hiram.
An Atlanta native, Dr. Nahai earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University. After completing his general surgery training, he served as a surgeon for the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. He further honed his skills with plastic surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by an Aesthetic and Oculoplastic fellowship at Paces and a Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery fellowship at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Nahai is known for his personalized approach, carefully listening to patients’ goals and conducting thorough evaluations to create safe and effective treatment plans. His focus is on achieving natural-looking results, and he uses advanced digital imaging and morphing software to aid in surgical planning.
